A Weekend Stay at The Russell Nashville

Nashville is one of my favorite places on earth. Even if I can only get away for one night I’ll make the trip to Nashville. When I have such limited time I always book my stay at The Russell Nashville. This hotel is one of the most charming and unique places I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. The Russell is located in East Nashville which is arguably the coolest neighborhood in Nashville. The property has been completely renovated from a historic church to a boutique hotel. The owners were able to keep some of the original features, like the beautiful stained-glass windows, which add so much charm to the experience and atmosphere of The Russell.

The rooms at The Russell are top notch. All 23 rooms have their own style, while still being a part of the cohesive cool vibe that The Russell is known for. Even the bathroom has nods to the property’s church history with their gothic-arch inspired mirrors.

The Russell also offers some really unique amenities like a podcast room and their own photo booth. The podcast room is completely soundproof and the have all equipment available for you to use if needed. I know I always have so much fun in the photo booth. It is a great way to get a cute memento from your stay and sometimes its nice to have a physical picture instead of just another instagram post.

The Russell also gives back to the local community so you can feel good about your stay. A percentage of each night’s stay goes to nonprofits to help those affected by homelessness in Nashville.
